sis did my nails the other day. (:

second day of second week of school. few things happened recently. I think this is the second (or third) time my prayer has been answered. but it still leaves me clueless... how? :/

today's four hours break was spent with JH and Cheryl in the computer lab. most productive break since school reopened. I should really make use of my long breaks since I have many of them this sem.

don't know if I am being over sensitive but I don't like it when people indirectly hint or show that I am not that smart. including the conversation in the train just now. uni people can be so disgusting sometimes, especially when their definition of "low" is kinda extreme. anyway did I mention that I chose the Statistics track? I always thought its the easiest or better one among the three tracks but it seems like Stats is out to kill as well. sigh to the extent that the two friends of mine are considering changing tracks. hmmm. I wonder how it will be like if almost all of my SPMS friends go for INSTEP at the same time?

anyway, MQ came to pass me Lao Ban beancurd during my last lecture just now! thanks a lot :D
my school is having some fundraising and they were selling two for $5 haha. first time trying it! tastes like milkcurd actually. no doubt its silky smooth though. hahaha.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!

spent the last few moments of 2011 (re)watching Secret Garden on tv cause after watching my recorded Gossip Girl there wasn't anything interesting enough to watch. hahaha.

really hope 2012 will be a better year for me (and everyone of course). new year approaching = new year resolutions! saw on fb this girl who wrote "grow taller" as her first new year resolution like zzz seriouslyyy. okay I think mine are practically the same every year.

- more healthy diet (drink more water daily + less unhealthy fattening food!)
- be a better person eg more positive, caring, considerate, forgiving, understanding (and be more demure hahaha)
- balance time well. eg social life, studies, tuitions etc (I hope to join a cca so my school life will be more interesting)
- BE MORE DILIGENT/HARDWORKING (this is very important!!!)
- spend wisely + save up more

the last point just reminds me of my "overseas trips" I had in mind recently! for the sake of the Bangkok shopping trip in May (after my exams), I shall save up by cutting down on my expenditure. shopping can wait till then! (: (:

since yesterday my throat has been funny and it's a bit painful when I swallow. ): luckily the flu is gone after tuition today. yes I have tuition on the last day of the year haha! and I went to order my younger sister's cake at JP after tuition has ended. have to collect it tomorrow at 5 pm. oh and I had a scare on my way there thanks to the train which got stuck for like 10 minutes.

xlb steamboat today! with Phylicia and Eddy. oh yeah this is our "farewell dinner" for Eddy actually, cause he is going for INSTEP this coming sem and he will be in Canada from early January till like May!

we ate until we were really fulllll and I ate loads of shabu shabu (especially the beef!) and the pork chives dumpling yum yum. (: the overall cost is about $27 per person. come to think of it, the xlb steamboat isn't that worth cause the "liaos" are just normal stuffs except for the xlb. my ISC colleague was commenting the other day that its more worth if you just keep ordering the xlbs and don't eat the normal ingredients. lol... definitely not applicable for me as I am not such a big fan of xlbs. ^^

the last thing we ordered was fried mantous and when it came we were amused cause its petite and cute! hahahaha. here is a picture of it compared to a normal sized tofu. (:

Eddy left for PS after dinner so Phylicia and I walked around Holland V for a looong time. finally decided to eat Island Creamery and had a nice long long chat there. (:

went home and updated the Facebook blogshop cause I wanna clear some clothes and earn some income from there. okay its getting late already and there is still work tomorrow! not complaining hahahaha. I rather go work than staying at home seriously. plus work is really slack this week. heard that next week will be busier! hahaha.

bit late but Merry X'mas everyone (:
tomorrow (or later) is the first day of work but I am unable to sleep as usual. zzz. lay in bed for like an hour plus and realised I am hungry D: went out of my room and ate a slice of chocolate rice roll from Polar Cake hahaha its kind of fattening at this hour actually.

talked to Eugene on the phone just now and he asked if I wanna go USS with him and his friend. hur hur but it's this Thursday and I'm not free on that day cause of Eddy's farewell (xlb steamboat).

if you want to know how I spent my X'mas yesterday, well... this year is slightly different. went to church (HoGC) after 6 years, not for service of course. Sebastian and I went cause SH invited us and I asked Nicholas along. the reason why I asked Nicholas along despite him not knowing my friends is because he was saying he had no plans and he forgot he had a secondary school gathering that evening. hurrrr. the place is big and the big stage makes it look cool. maybe that will appeal to youths and there were really a lot of young people there yesterday. stayed there for like two hours to watch the performance (our friend was part of the choir) and listen to the pastor's words and some testimonies. yup. learnt that "happiness is not found in a place but it can be found in a person etc". definitely won't be going to church for another visit anytime soon haha. went to Parkway Parade with Nicholas for lunch + Koi and we were finding a gift for his party's gift exchange. homed after that and it's a long bus journey alone (196) but I forgot to bring my mp3. boo.

okay should try to get some sleep now. hope to end 2011 well and start 2012 well too! (: good night!

it's ironic how you can be happy in the day then at night you just start feeling upset when you found out or realized certain things.

happy in the day cause I had fun with my maths friends at the Crystal Jade steamboat buffet and we ate, chatted and laughed for two hours plus. also, we finally passed to the two December babies their birthday presents hur hur.

then just now I got upset when I realised some people can be such hypocrites and ingrates. yeah they can just say mean things or do things that are really inconsiderate to you when previously you had helped them quite a bit like when they were in need or keeping secrets for them etc. seriously. my trust in people are gradually declining. my sis said I am the sort who do not trust easily. maybe she is right. but then again, there are things that happened over the years which forced me to develop such "distrustful" character too.

perhaps I should just heck care the fact that I may be losing more friends by fighting back. cause they are just not worth it anyway.

met up with Vanessa today to get Tyng's present and I finally got my swimming costume!! keyword here is finally hahaha. cause it took me quite a long time to find and we went up and down Far East Plaza to see the variety. plus the last time I bought a swimming costume was when I was primary 6?!?! hahahaha okaaaay.

had dinner with family + sis's bf at Bukit Timah Plaza's Saizeriya and I did not eat that much cause I had a random slight headache zzz. and I actually tried escargots for the first time today. we ordered that cause sis said its nice and I practically winced while chewing it hahaha. :/

bought cookies and cream cake from Prima Deli and it's a rather small one hahahaha not much of a choice! happy that it received positive reviews from them heheee (: this afternoon it wasn't easy sneaking the cake into the house but well it was successful in the end. ^^

holidays are like halfway through already and I feel like I am lazing around and keep spending on things that are ... unseen? yes I mean food. plus this month there are many presents to buy, which add up to quite a bit when added up. ): ISC sent me an email today asking if interested/available to work from 27th to 7th Jan. initially was thinking of using the holidays for resting and meeting up with friends but I realized I am pretty free after Christmas and I should earn back some money to ease my guilt. hahaha oh well let's see how it goes.

finished watching Tokyo Dogs and 我可能不会爱你, I would prefer the former as it is an interesting and funny show! long time did not watch detective series, I still love mysteries! as for the latter, it starred one of my favorite actress Ariel Lin and she is so different from her ISWAK role hahaha seriously. the whole show was rather draggy cause the guy was not expressive enough about his deep liking for her but towards the end it happened so fast and sudden when they got together. tsk tsk... typical eh?

(: rushed to tuition after last paper lollll why am I such a chiongster hahahaha. regarding exams I really feel angry with myself with the mistakes I made zzz gotta work harder next sem FOR REAL!!! no more last minute and lesser procrastination ): next sem will be better I hope.

met up with Rita today to get Cheryl's present. pretty pinkish stuffs hahahaha!! (: we had Kenny Rogers for lunch and it was our first time having that! haha and that's the only meal I had all day ._. so filling.

it was raining heavily and I couldn't go home just now so I went to the bookshop to get birthday card and paper bag carrier. being a student rawksss hahaha further 10% discount (:

studied with MQ at SP as usual today. instead of sitting at the area with two huge fans we went to somewhere near Food Court 1 cause the former was too crowded today.

currently waiting for my hair to dry and then print my past year papers and solutions after blogging this. read one of my ex-colleague's blog just now (same age as me) and she was complaining about her boring uni life. haha I think mine is boring too, hence I decided to take up a cca latest by Year 3? (: and this is random but it has been awhile since I scanned through someone's blog, reading their entries. reminded me of the good old days when blogging was a fad. I think it's just entertaining to read friends' blogs cause you get to know their daily happenings and also their inner thoughts. perhaps you will discover a side of them you have not seen or known too.

last night I fell asleep listening to Jay Chou's songs from his new album. it never fails to give me that special feelings. haha.

guess I will be on hiatus till exams are over. I have already made a to-do list mentally on what to do after exams hahaha. promise to update more after exams end on 2nd December! (:

finally caught this movie after some hesitation and as expected, it is nice! (: before that Mei Qi strongly recommended it and kept asking me to go and watch. it is a funny and touching movie I would say. at certain parts I felt teary, lol ._. and it gives you the nostalgic feeling too. haha. oh yes and it had been quite awhile since I had been to Causeway Point and was surprised to see it changed so much! hurrr.

yesterday was 11/11/11 and many people (including me) are excited about the 11:11 wish thing. and my mum sent me this via Whatsapp hahaha.

lol some people will be skeptical and said the whole 11:11 wish thing is lame but well... anyway I managed to catch both and the night one was really by coincidence! :D heheee hope our wishes will come true then.

just came back from my OGL's 21st birthday party and the cake was yum! it was at this ECP area with many nice bungalow chalets hahaha. spent few hours there with Vega and watched them bowled for awhile and then left with the bunch of them. oh and thanks Eddy for the two way ride today! (:

MTH 212's results out today and I am glad it was much better than my midterms. (: not sure what the average is though.

been wanting to call my tutee's mum to find out how my student fared for her final year exams but can't find the time to. hope she did well!

my exams are coming in less than two weeks time. I should get down to panicky studying mode instead of thinking about certain irrelevant things. ): plus I ought to spend less time on Tumblr, Twitter and Facebook.

usually I would mope around on a Sunday and feeling sian at the arrival of Monday but welllll today is different! met up with Eugene and we had lunch at Marina Square's BK then we headed over to ... the Singapore Flyer! thanks Cheryl for the tickets btw. (: actually there is a reason why she gave it to me but circumstances changed and I ended up going with Eugene in the end. oh well!

"trapped" in the capsule for about 30 minutes with a couple of strangers hahaha and the ride was a really s-l-o-w one. took some pictures while we were high up in the air and the scenery was nice! (:

left at about 5 plus cause Eugene had to book in at 8.30 pm and his mum (just came back from Batam) wanted to meet him for dinner. thanks bestie for the rather last minute meet up and always being a listening ear! :D the next time we meet will probably be two months later hur hur.

napped awhile upon reaching home. met sis at Clementi mall there, bought popiah + Koi for dinner and also bought a bag. haha... gotta save up for holiday shopping manzzz. :D

its about 2 am now and i am going to bed soon. decided to do an update before sleeping haha.

its Friday today, and next week is recess week. hope i won't waste it away but somehow the determination is not there. :/ there is tuition tomorrow and i think i may head to town after that in search of an ideal bagpack. the Tagger backpacks look so cute on the Tagger website haha. my friends have been discussing about INSTEP lately and i am not sure if i should go. deep down i got the feeling that i won't be going overseas with them though it sounds fun but the cost issue is seriously ... plus my mum might not think well of it too which i don't blame her. oh well.

crammed like mad on wednesday night for the psychology quiz yesterday. the content tested was 100% biological stuff hmmm studying for it just reminds me of my upper secondary school biology days. ^^

oh and something unfortunate happened today. read Twitter and my sis was saying Janet was admitted into hospital because one of her eye suddenly "blank out" and my mum was saying it has something to do with the nerves and have to stay there for 4 days. ): thats really scary and random and i pray that she will recover soon!! what a thing to happen when baby Alexis is only one month plus? bless her and baby Alexis too.

everyone on Twitter is saying how "funny" or "awesome" the Johnny English movie is, and it makes me anticipate next week's movie outing heheee! :D

the last thing i would like to write about is that i think i have reached a point in my life where i can critically recognise who are the people in my life i should care about etc. some friends (or people) are just not worth not respecting yeah? if they do not even respect you or your feelings then i guess you can just do without them.

here to blog again and maybe some rants!! just went to view my programming module (the one i mentioned in the previous post cause i missed the homework deadline) quiz result and i just passed. hur hur, not surprising cause i left quite a few questions blank. oh and btw an update about the homework assignment fluster - the prof had emailed me back saying they will not penalise me this time round (only)! okay phew. but anyway they had stepped up on their grading system and became more stringent. ): ): decided that i NEED to do something about it and not float around like last year sem 1 the C++ zzz. all in all programming is the bane of my life seriously.

going to be a long day tomorrow, lessons from 8.30 am to 8.30 pm. with a few breaks of course haha. my friend was telling me to go for the UniY info session thing but it starts at 7 plus and end at 9 pm, how to go?! ): getting rejected by the VM was disappointing but well.. what to do. D:

here is another update after like 3 weeks? hmmm. Singapore Presidential Election yesterday. pretty close fight and the recounting took soo long that I went to bed first. not that I am very interested in politics anyway.

I am really upset over my MTH 212 homework assignment cause I already completed like 95% of the assignment but I FORGOT to hand up (online) on Friday before 11.55 pm!! UGH!!! totally pissed at myself for being muddlehead at the wrong time and I was in a fluster yesterday night when I realized it. zzz. swear this is the first time such thing happened. I have emailed the profs already and if they do not want to show mercy, there goes my 2%. yes yes you might think it's only 2% but the problem is my programming skills are kinda lousy (as I dislike programming) so I am losing out to the others. sigh. hope things will turn out fine seriously. ): it got me feeling stupid cause I had all day on Friday YET I still went to meet friends and chit chat... like wth XM?! tsk.

quite thankful for the long weekend, no school on Monday and Tuesday because of the PE and Hari Raya. hmmm. got to do some serious work tomorrow I promise! lesser procrastinating and leisure. I'm afraid my social life will be diminishing as we approach nearer to the final term exams. oh well, suffer then play right! need the determination after seeing friends doing well and my GPA is like so average compared to theirs. ):

Wednesdays will be my free days now haha long story about why I dropped my Genes R Us. it's replaced by HP1000 Introd to Psychology instead. a lot of readings to do for electives and a lot of practise to do for core modules! k enough rants about school.

on a sidenote, met Eddy for lunch in school the other day. idk why he appeared in that gory dream I had that night and goshhhh enough of saddistic and gory dreams I tend to have! met up with Cheryl on Friday evening and our plan to eat MFM failed cause the promotion was only valid till 6 pm hur hur. had a fun time with her and her iPhone cover issue still cracks me up. its going to be 1 am soon and i just printed like 60 pages of note for Calculus III notes (which can last me till Week 5) then reality hits me that this is something i will be doing for the next 13 weeks. haiz mega yawnzzz. D: trying my best to look forward to school starting next Monday. really enjoyed the 2 months plus holidays and yes i did what i wanted to do - relax, catch up with dramas, going out with friends, watching movies, earned extra money etc. not to mention i visited Jurong Bird Park and the Zoo too! :D

first week of school should be still manageable with the absence of tutorials (ha ha) and i'm looking forward to Wednesday and Thursday! (: there will be ISC appreciation dinner on Wednesday and we have to bring an international friend we met during work and i invited Edy! hahaha so happy to know ex-AES people who are coming to NTU heheee. Thursday i will be going to Night Safari (some tour for new international students) but i think i am more excited about going there to play with my colleagues hahaha!! never been there anyway. oh yeah allocation results of electives were out yesterday and thankfully i have 2 electives allocated to me, and its my first and second choice? heheee that means i do not need to take part in "STARS Wars" aka Add/Drop yay! (: (:

went 328 for tze char dinner just now and realised that there is Astons there! would not have realised it if younger sis did not point it out to me. like OMG since when there is one in Clementi?!?! hahaha okay whatever its good news anyway. (;

hello! it has been weeks since I last updated. pretty busy nowadays and yup I am currently working in school under ISC! been there for like 2 weeks plus already. made a couple of new friends and they are nice and interesting people! (: our supervisor is nice to us too. and yesterday there was this ceremony for international graduates and I was one of the few who got sent over to do duty at LKC. it was cool blasting music at LKC with only few people around! learnt that the LKC lecture theatre can contain 991 seats haha! while waiting for things to get ready we had some time to spare so we watched Katy Perry's Last Friday Night mv on the big screen and lol i think the video is rather funny! ^^ the free food had a lot of leftovers and sad to say the food are not that nice. ): got disappointed by the chocolate eclaire especially. oh well anyway after that met Ay Tyng at JP to watch ... Transformers! (: it is a looong movie cause about 2.5 hours?! haha okay overall not bad and I was relieved when Bumblebee didn't die! :D

anyway a lot of things happened during this period of time and at times I found myself in a crappy situation. D: hope things will get better soon. especially when school is restarting. hmmmm.

its 1st July today, meaning half of the year has passed by! thats fast. it is going to be 1 pm soon. waiting for 1.30 pm to reach so we can begin our STARS war. okay just kidding i am referring to my course registration. hope things will go well later! (:

woke up quite early this morning with a stomachache. had to go to the toilet twice but at least it wasn't serious. don't know why but nowadays when i eat McSpicy then the next day morning i would have the runs. its the second time already. first time was like few weeks ago. ): maybe my stomach declined in spicy-ness level hur hur. D:

oh oh oh and two days ago Janet finally gave birth to a baby girl! poor her who had a difficult labour. thanks goodness she is fine and so is the baby. (:(: so far only seen pictures of the newborn cause mum Whatsapp-ed me the pictures when she visited them yesterday. can't wait to visit the baby!

going to Bedok market for dinner tonight and meeting girl-friends tomorrow! and work starts next week yay! at least i will not feel guilty for idling (and spending especially) for the past few days. haha. =D

caught Green Lantern with Jing Huan, Nicholas and John yesterday. heard that it wasn't that awesome but i thought it was better than expected! okay maybe cause i lowered my expectations hahaha. all was great until the last part which is the important part of him killing the bad guy. too abrupt i feel? more emphasis should be given for that part. especially when the parts in front are so "specific". oh and Blake Lively looks nice in the show. (: the two guys and i had dinner at Newton Food Centre. joke of the day was Nicholas and his Gong Cha hahaha! ^^

oh last Saturday it was ice skating + late night movie with MSH colleagues. it was fun! currently eating dinner in front of the computer hur hurrrr. work ended yesterday! supposed to be ending on Saturday but they cancelled Friday, Saturday and Sunday. it was a boring job anyway! haha. MQ and i got accepted into the ISC Buddy job cause they sent us the confirmation email yesterday. :D but she will miss the upcoming briefing cause she will only be back from Korea on the 30th. D:

went downstairs to cut my fringe just now. not used to seeing short fringe! and how i wish that i got natural straight silky hair so i do not need to rebond. ): oh yes met up with Denise like two days ago. we finally met up! hahaha. it has been a week since i last blogged! here is a summary:
Monday - Kbox-ed at night with Cheryl and Sebastian.
Tuesday - watched X-Men at Cathay. (i have to admit its not bad ahaha and FYI i got zero background in it!)
Wednesday - (night) shopping with sis at Bugis. been some time since i shopped there eh!
Thursday - wallowed in self-pity over my results. okay, not really results just that stupid Econs. zzz. seriously, i think its a sign that i should forsake Econs for the rest of my life!! roar!!!
Friday - did nothing for the whole day i think.

yesterday met up with Ay Tyng and Vanessa. lunched at Vanessa's father the vegetarian restaurant at Tanjong Pagar. it was nice! first time going to a vegetarian restaurant hahaha and personally i am not a fan of vegetarian food btw. hmmm. shopped with them at Bugis and recommended them to try the "wo ai tai mei" milk tea. while waiting for our bubble tea we talked about our CJ eyecandies. miss those eyecandy days! (: hahaha. Vanessa left early cause she was feeling unwell. then Ay Tyng and i went to town to continue shopping. didnt get anything the whole day except for nail polish remover cause my sister took our one and left it at her boyfriend's house zzz. EPIC MOMENT CAME WHEN WE WERE ABOUT TO HAVE OUR DINNER AND WE SAW FLOWERS AT CINELEISURE HAHAHAHA speak of the devil seriously. ^^

back to lesson tomorrow rahhhhh but its okay, just 3 more lessons then i will be freed! haha. crappy to be having a quiz on the last day of lesson (Wednesday) and Tuesday i am going to be busy until night sigh. give me the strength to pull through and the luck to get through the quiz!

Wednesday: quiz + celebrated Nicholas's belated birthday with the rest. 5 hours of singing at this KTV in Chinatown and it only costs 10 dollars! free flow drinks somemore. hahaha. signed up for the membership card cause we had to, and we gave it to Nicholas haha. dinnered at Central's Ramen Santouka and i tried the "soft boiled egg" for the first time! hahaha.

Thursday: was killing time in the afternoon cause i was meeting Cheryl and Sebastian in the late afternoon. dinnered at Four Fingers! (: first time trying that despite passing by that shop many times. nice recommendation cause the chicken wings are nice! (: i order the seafood rice and the shrimps and calamari rings are nice, though the sauce was err, too salty?? hmmm.

Friday (yesterday): treetop walk! =D really a nature walk. saw many insects and weird creatures haha. bitten by mosquitoes but luckily the bites are mild. haha. encountered real monkeys within 30 cm away from me when we were crossing the bridge which is the highlight of that place. =O kinda scary actually. okay in total i walked at least 5.2 km hahaha! (: dinnered at Queenstown and i was so tired upon reaching home. hurrr. (:

today woke up with a funny feeling in my stomach and i know what is coming. zzz. mum is cooking today, which is kinda unusual? cause today is saturday! haha. tomorrow would be tuition but only one lesson cause WQ went back to Taiwan. so yay, can wake up later! (:

back from dinner at grandma's house. (: Janet's stomach is really huge now. last week i had a poke at it and it felt so jellyish! hahaha. baby girl is said to be dued in June so yay another baby cousin heheeee. :D

ulcers are recovering and thank goodness the two big ulcers near the lips did not combine to form a mega one. haha. there is lesson tomorrow, 3 hours ahhhh. until Wednesday. hope time will fly during lesson. and tomorrow there will be papa to accompany me so at least there is another person i can talk to.

and lastly, happy birthday to Nicholas!! (: one of the good friends i made in NTU. (:
we all called him at 12 am promptly yesterday and he was touched when we told him our little present for him - 1 million neopoints! hahaha. seriously it wasn't easy earning it, especially when you only had about two weeks! haha. luckily i still got my main account which was created after my O-levels. (: glad he liked that original gift of ours! (; but of course that is not the only present... meeting up with them next week to celebrate his bday late. haha and on that day then he will get his real present! ^^

skipped lesson today cause i woke up with a swollen red eye. so annoyed and irritated when this happens cause its just so random? and makes my eyes even more puffy. ugh, hate my sensitive eyes sometimes. why can't it be normal like everyone else's?! and my case of swollen eye tend to be more severe than others too. ): gahhhh.

its a good thing i texted Gao Yu about not coming cause after a long time she finally replied and she said there is no lesson tomorrow. omg luckily she informed me that or else i would have gone to school for nothing! zzz. and she said there is quiz next Wednesday. hopefully i can manage my time well cause i am going out on both Monday and Tuesday! haha.

today is tuesday and somehow i feel that time is passing by rather slowly. hmmm i wonder why? second lesson is still boring and i think i can't help staring at those people in the class thinking how weird they are. hahaha seriously. there was this indian guy idk if he is local or foreigner. he has this extremely weird voice and the way he speaks is soo high pitched and gayish? gosh even Gao Yu can't stand him and she got agitated when i jokingly said thats her good friend hahaha!! and today is her 22th birthday, happy birthday! (: the only China friend in NTU i am on closer terms with, haha.

was Tumblr-ing and i stumbled upon some pictures of Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber. call me slow but err i didnt know they were together? those Bielibers must be devastated, hahaha. anyway i think both of them look cute together even though the girl is one year older than him. both of them got the babyface so thats not really obvious also. haha oh yeah and their couple name is called "Jelena" lol!

oh yesss went for threading just now. happy that i got neater eyebrows now. :D
thanks jie jie for accompanying me hahaha it is my second time doing it but i still find it painful!! for a second i thought my eyebrow is going to bleed or something. ouch. Koi-ed afterwards and i got myself a cup of pearl milk tea. yes, simplistic. hahaha!

first lesson of MH8500 today. supposed to be 3 hours but we were dismissed 30 minutes earlier. (:
and it was as boring as i expected it to be. hahaha. the only funny part was when the prof was asking around for our birthdays as he was trying to explain the birthday problem. oh btw that prof for this module is some guest lecturer who is a book author as well. and you can find his page at Wikipedia hahaha.

after lesson waited awhile for 771 to come from his hall as he had training earlier then off we go to JE Creative! hurrr so happy to be able to exchange my spoiled earpiece for a new one cause the warranty is one year. no pink one this time and was caught in between red and blue colours. hmmm. chose the red one in the end. okay shall look after it cause i don't wanna go back there again. (: oh and coincidentally his earpiece also spoiled on one side recently so he bought a new one haha! while leaving the place the NTU interview job (which papa and i had signed up for recently) called me!! :D happy much. but that job is only for two weeks though. haha. had Pepperlunch for lunch heheee and i think i am going to eat that again next week?

took an afternoon nap just now. quite some time since i did that! ^^ okay gotta sleep early cause there is still lesson tomorrow. good night! (:

Friday's cycling was cheap, fun and hot ttm. its cheap because it only cost 6 dollars to cycle for 3 hours. first time cycling at ECP on a weekday. haha. and also first time cycled until perspiring all over. but oh well we were praying it wouldn't rain and it didn't! though on that day it was raining in the west area heheee. took many group pictures especially at the jetty where it was soo sunny and windy! KOI-ed after that and then ate dinner. (:
joke of the day was mimicking papa saying "Nicholas flirting siollll" hahaha! ^^

pretty boring day today. came online just in time to say bye to papa who is going off for his cca chalet. and my lessons are starting tomorrow like yawnzzz. think there are only like 18 of us in the cohort which is like VERY little. going to JE Creative after lesson tomorrow with 771 to let them check my 2 months old spoiled earpiece, so troublesomeeee. hope its not my fault!

it has been exactly one week since exams ended! surprisingly the elated feeling wasn't there (compared to last sem). the last day of exams was crazyyy cause I had two papers (with 6 hours gap) and i barely slept 2 hours the night before. the last paper Econs was crazy seriously. so unfair that the past year papers are relatively easy but so sway it became soo difficult when its my turn to take the paper. got so stressed during the paper and my high hopes for this module is like dashed? really wanted to score for it cause the content is very similar to what I had learnt before in JC. and this only reminds me of A-level Econs and my fear of it. maybe this is a sign to prevent me from taking Econs, hur hurrr. okay wtv i can only cross my fingers and pray for the best. hope my results will not disappoint me that much cause afterall I put in more efforts compared to last sem.

anyway before exams started I had my 20th birthday but I had no time to blog about it! well yeah I enjoyed my birthday celebrations with my family , secondary school friends and uni friends. (: thanks all for the effort! love the presents and surprises. :D

met up with Arlha two days ago cause she came back Singapore for a few days. (: more than a year since I last met her and I realised Steffi and I have not met for like, 3 years plus?! gee. had fun catching up with Arlha and we miss secondary school days very much. ):

then yesterday was movie outing with my uni friendssss. (: first time watching movie so early hahaha. caught the Priest which started at 11 am and hmmm it was okok la. wasn't as scary as I thought it would be! ^^ after movie we went to SMU Settler's Cafe to play games! had lunch there too. okay la it was fun hahaha it was my first time going to such game cafe too! though there is one just at my house downstairs! had dinner at PS's MFM and it was my second time eating it. had pasta cause I know I would probably feel sick eating the fish halfway. and I had this drink called "Gummy Bear" which is blue in colour, and it really tasted like gummy bears haha!

checked my email at night then saw the email from school saying that my (free) "special sem" module registration has been approved. (: yup so I will be going back school on certain days for 3 hours each and after June 15th I will be officially free! maybe can work for awhile before school officially starts in August hmmm.

going to meet Eugene later to "celebrate" our belated birthdays! haha. and tomorrow its cycling at ECP with friends heheee can't wait!

it's e-learning week this week! but still got to go back to school almost everyday. apparently only one module has e-learning hahaha. had our very last Linear Algebra quiz (for this semester) today. no chance to get full marks. 2/2.5 would suffice hahaha. and I am not those kind who will lose their head when I did not get full marks or when I get below average. can't stand those 夸张 NTU people/muggers zzz.

so in the end I did not S/U anything though I was super tempted to S/U Linear Algebra! if it's only worth 3 AUs I confirm S/U it please. D: since I have made this decision I got to brace myself for the intensive studying and gruelling exam period. yup, will force myself to study hard!!

oral presentation preparation plus dry run after school and I felt so unprepared hence got stressed up when I could not think of what to put in for the slides of my part. zzz. felt bad when my groupmates had to help me think. =O will prepare my script later! the actual OP is on Wednesday though. haha. I have always disliked presentations!

this week is SPMS dressed-up week! initiated by Isabella who created the Facebook event. haha. went to school wearing a dress. thought would see many people dressed up but hmmm only saw a bit of difference in the people today! heee managed to get JH and papa dressed up for it. (; not sure if i should dress up tomorrow though. and I am meeting Ay Tyng to study at JE tomorrow. ^^

went to Jurong Point with papa during our 4 hours break today. cause he had to help his brother to go down to the traveling agency. we had Ajisen for lunch. (: and something embarrassing happened when I was eating. I accidentally dropped the chicken wing into the soup and it sort of splashed all over. zzz. luckily I wore dark colours today! haha.

I just went to check my astro midterm results and got a horrible C+. I was like WTH man. I know I got a few wrongs but C+?!?! this shows how good the rest are. D: and the S/U option came into my mind omgzxzx noooooo. ): ): sigh, don't care! gotta chiong for finals which are in less than a month's time!!

it's Friday! yes, like AGAIN. nowadays it feels like Fridays pass by real fast. like suddenly "eh? its Friday again!" tsk tsk. today we bought a slice of choclate cake for JH and handed her the present. actually her birthday is tomorrow but tomorrow is a Saturday. yupppp. glad she like it! :D and the "birthday card" I got for her became a joke among us. ): too carried away by the cute Winnie The Pooh at the front page that I forgot to check if it's relevant. ZZZ. apparently the words in the card make the card seems like it's for a friend who is far away. oh myyyy. hahaha it's okay, the card's cuteness makes up for it (I hope)! ^^

went to Jurong Point to walk around after school today. alone. haha didn't feel like going home that early and I was hoping to be able to buy a pair of nice sandals! apparently i hardly wear them ever since mine broke about a month ago. surprisingly I am not feeling dead beat when I only slept about 3 hours yesterday. crazy, I know. was doing some (last minute) studying for Astro. madness seriously, there were so many things to remember! and the joke is the midterm today only comprised of 15 MCQs. BUT THE WEIGHTAGE IS ACTUALLY 30%. that means each MCQ worths 2%!! zzz. okay I made few mistakes in the paper just now. hmmm. gotta work harder for finals! and my friends taking Astro with me seem to have natural flair for such things. ._. well I've never like such physics + (physical) geography stuff anyway. haha. was tempted to skip the 8.30 lecture cause it's so early and I was not done with my astro revision. but I went for it anyway. and today I did not go to school alone haha. ^^

oh yessss I had Canteen B's vegetarian food AGAIN today. think I'm going crazy hahahaha. btw I'm trying to refrain from heaty food nowadays. (: roamed around in Clementi just now cause it was raining and I did not want to get drenched. and I was thinking I should go get JH's birthday card cause I can bring to school for them to write (since she won't be around tomorrow after our first lesson). oh and I tried Each-A-Cup's Champagne Grape today! hahaha. not bad. better than Canteen B's Teaz. but the bubble tea shop in Clementi many years ago is still the best!! hahaha. its supposed to be a long day today but somehow time seemed to pass by quite fast. started the day with LA quiz which was pretty hard. thanks Zi Lin for the important hint! (: stayed back after school to accompany papa. OH AND THE ONLY ONE WHO NOTICED MY HAIRCUT WAS PAPA!! okay maybe its not obvious enough. went to ask JH if she noticed I cut my hair and she said yes I looked a bit different today but she thought it's "bad hair day" omgzxzxx?! tskkkk. had Canteen B's vegetarian food for dinner! I think it's addictive HAHAHAHA. healthy and cheap (Y) hmmm visited the business library for the first time today. (: it's smaller than LWN yet there are more empty seats around. haha. or maybe it's because I went at "off peak" hour. ^^

just caught the last episode of Love Buffet which I recorded (mentioned in the previous post) and I HATE LAST EPISODES. D: the ending is kinda expected and I pity Aaron Yan who did not get the girl afterall. I would rather the girl end up with him la. okay I am being biased here hahaha.

things are going alright now but the thought of exams edging nearer makes me feel stressed too.
yesterday I was in school from late morning till afternoon. after the LA make up lecture I went to LWN library to kill time. studied astro cause next Wednesday is the midterm. hmmm took me 2 hours to study finish one lecture?! don't underestimate astro hahaha. after that left for City Hall and to meet 771. (: thanks for accompanying me to buy the present! yep, bought something from Uniqlo for Jing Huan. shall pass it to her on Friday. hope she will like it! and I can reveal it here cause I doubt she will read this anyway. hahaha. went to watch movie after settling the present. "Hop" was pretty funny! ^^ not as bad as I heard. sadly yesterday I did not get to watch my Love Buffet cause of some charity show for Japan earthquake and caused my show to be delayed to 6.30 am?! like no way I will catch it la, so early! hence I recorded it heheee. went for tuitions just now and one of my students said she want to add me on facebook. hahaha! so cute of her. and today I found out her height is like 1.75 metres like omg?! she is just sec 3 laaaa. oh well. life's unfair. haha.

just came back from dinner with the rest of the family! celebrated grandpa's birthday. so ... happy birthday ah gong!! (:
not sure how old he is exactly this year but I know he is young at heart! wish him good health and things will always go smoothly for him. =D until now I still shudder at the thought of his "close shave" 4 years ago. when he was hospitalized and underwent bypass surgery which was a heart operation with much risk. I do love my grandparents. although we do not talk much, I could feel their care and concern. if weren't for their care and help many years ago, we would be in for a much tougher time.

anyway it's Friday today! "Friday Friday Friday~" hahaha that weird song which attracted vast amount of attention on YouTube and Twitter.
hmmm pretty relaxing day today. but there are two midterms next week, shall go study after blogging this! and I still have to go to school tomorrow for Calculus make up lecture hahaha. next Saturday there will be another (LA) make up lecture too. hurrrr. pretty excited about the Sukiya buffet tomorrow haha! hopefully its as nice as I heard! heeee.

hello! many things happened for the past few days and I think it's too long to be mentioned. so let me summarise it as accurately as possible! (:

Sunday: went to meet 771 after tuition! bought a new cover for my darling phone and it's the special edition baby blue I have been eyeing since last year October! in case you are wondering how nice it looks, here it is!

bought it at Bugis Junction for $22 but after that I saw it at the Suntec IT fair for $17.60. wasted $4.40! ): oh well. 771 said it's okay since I already saved about $20 from the IT fair printer/toner ink sales which is quite true! (: roamed around the IT fair for about an hour plus? got a new earpiece from Creative and its pink colour again!! haha. after that we went to Marina Square to catch the 7.40 pm "Gnomeo And Juliet" movie. it's a cute and funny movie! oh not to mention it's a relatively short movie too. ^^ we ate a late dinner at Newton Food Centre and the food are nice. (: at the end of the day I was happy because of my new stuffs hahaha! :D

Monday: met papa early in the morning to study in school before we met the rest for the Henderson Wave nature walk. something happened in the morning which made me feel rather bad cause I felt as though I caused it indirectly. ): oh welllll. nature walk was ruined by the rain which never seemed to stop! who on earth go on a nature walk with umbrellas manzzz. and luckily the radioactive rain caused by Japan was just a rumour or we would be in danger. =O hmmm overall it was a tiring day after all the intensive walking hahaha.

Tuesday: met up with Eugene in the afternoon to go to Ion to collect Sebastian's birthday cake from Awfully Chocolate! (:
and we deliberately spelled Sebastian's name wrongly on the cake cause during AES days idk why but he always write his name as "Sebastia Ng"!! below is a picture of the cake. yum. (:

had dinner at (substation) Timbre and I got to drink martini for the first time. haha. walked over to Gmax to look see look see. then impromptu Kbox at Chinatown. apparently that day there was some one-for-one deal! :D sang till about 2.45 am then cabbed home. all in all I had fun meeting up with Eugene, Cheryl, Sebastian and Charis! :D

Wednesday: boring stay home day. super unproductive. I realised I cant study at home cause its either my mum will be talking loudly on her phone or someone would be talking to me randomly. quite frustrating at times. I'm sure it would be more conducive IF I have my own room where there is peace and quiet. and that day I even dozed off after dinner. zzz.

Thursday and Friday: study session with papa and I swear my lowest peak gotta be in the afternoon. sleepy like hell please!! maybe it's because it's after lunch. sigh. this afternoon I was studying alone at LWN cause papa left for his tuition then my phone suddenly gone bonkers and suddenly I can't switch it on after it blackout. got worried and went home to see what I can do. luckily my elder sister knows what to do and helped me reset my phone. phew. (: another sad thing is my screen protector was ruined thanks to my keys which scratched my phone screen while on my way home. no choice but to use my 2 screen protectors which come along with the new baby blue cover. first attempt failed but second attempt was successful. hence I used up two of them. hur hurrrr.

the highly anticipated Wednesday stargazing session mentioned in the previous post was CANCELLED dued to the (much redundant) rain. we stayed back in school and waited for nothing. zzz. in the end we chiong-ed down to Jurong Point to watch the "I Am Number Four" movie. we only decided to catch it when it was close to 7 pm and the movie starts at 7.15 pm! at that time we were at Canteen 14 somemore. hahaha. anyway the movie is niceeee and i think there would be sequels to it. (:

was hoping it would rain on Thursday again cause i had tuition in the evening and i could not make it for the stargazing session. and it did! i mean it really rained. HAHAHA. apparently the lecturer emailed us saying it would be postponed to next week hmmm. oh and next week is recess week! it means one week of break if you didnt know. and coincidentally the primary + secondary + JC students are having their one week of holidays too! midterms will come after recess week so actually to me recess week is not considered as holidays at all. sadded. D:

today is like stay-home Saturday. supposed to go out but it is postponed to tomorrow. which is a good thing cause shortly after i woke up i developed cramps. tsk. hope it will go away by tomorrow!

oh yes and Japan was hit by a sudden earthquake of magnitude 8.9 plus tsunami yesterday. i recalled learning in Geography that an earthquake of such magnitude is pretty serious. hopefully natural disasters will not strike so much and so randomly cause the thought of the world ending in 2012 is pretty daunting. =O so let's #prayforJapan, yeah?

Tuesday = slack day cause there is only one 2 hour lecture. (:

as usual stayed back after that to studyyyy. LWN library was so unconducive today. maybe cause of the area I was sitting at. there was already some random renovation (involving drillings and "stompings") going on yet the people sitting near me are talking loudly and if I am not wrong they are foreigners. zzz. managed to learn some stuff before leaving early with B1 cause he wanted to get some "clothes" for his new phone. hmmm. went to Boon Lay's pasar malam to try our luck and indeed they have Samsung accessories! :D now his phone looks pretty cool with a mirrored screen protector and a black hard cover. best part was that I finally satisfied my craving for twist potato and my 蜜汁鸡排! (: (: B1 agreed that they taste yummy heheee. and the little girl we met while we were sitting on the rocks eating was so cute! she tried to pluck the "huge pebble" off the ground and the sight was cute and amusing. ^^ and she even waved goodbye back to me hahaha!

hmmm tomorrow would be a fun day cause I am going for .... STARGAZING! organized by my astro lecturer haha. and it's at night of course. never did that before and I am sure the four of us would have fun! (;

as mentioned in the previous post, I would give a review of Black Swan after watching it. ITS OVERRATED LA! the story is confusing and at some parts I thought I was watching horror show instead. zzz.

just checked my LA quiz 2 and I got 2 out of 2.5. :D improving heheee. compared to my pathetic quiz 1 that is. after talking to my junior just now, I started thinking why my expectations are lower compared to my friends. is it cause I am quite easily contented with academic grades? or is it cause I do not have adequate confidence in myself? idk, it certainly feels weird and I don't like it.

it has been a while since I updated my blog! school has been fun everyday. it would be even more fun if you minus the quizzes and tests which never seem to end. yesterday night was kinda madness. so many things to do yet I accidentally dozed off after dinner. woke up around 9 and only slept at 3 plus. the worst thing is today's first lesson was at 8.30 am! =O so I only slept for like 3 hours plus? haha. hence I am going to sleep after updating this post! luckily I took a short afternoon nap this afternoon.

time really flies when you are not noticing or when you are too engrossed/preoccupied with other stuff. I miss my slack days. MQ was telling me after our final exams for this term we would have a long holidays. I think that's very motivating hahaha. (: recess week is coming and those lucky Engineering people are having their E-learning week this next week! that's like two weeks of break for them can. haha.

today was a rather bland day hmmm. in the morning I was feeling sleepy due to the lack of sleep the night before. then wasnt in the mood to listen lecture la. we had calculus quiz during lec today. due to time constraint I didn't manage to calculate the final answer for first part of the question and I could only feel "helpless" and hand in my paper reluctantly to the lecturer who was standing in front of me collecting the papers back. oh well. I guess the most significant event today would be the release of A-levels results huh. that reminds me of my scary traumatizing experience with it one year ago. thinking back I felt so fortunate to be in NTU today. those happy tears shed one year ago were worth it. :D though the studying process now is not exactly a breeze, I should appreciate what I have gotten right? those who did not do well today should not lose heart, I would advise them to retake if they think they can do better. that was what I told myself before taking the results anyway.

k I better get going to sleep since I am meeting my dear girl-friend Cheryl Lim tomorrow! hope the Black Swan movie is as awesome as I heard heheee. ^^ might post my review in the next post if I have the time (and mood) to blog tomorrow.

happy Valentine's day, everyone! :D
I remember back in CJ, Valentine's day used to be a big deal with flowers, little gifts and chocolates. but today in school it was just like any other normal day. oh well, maybe everyone is busy studying. hahaha!
anyway it was any other normal day to me too. went running (again) during my long break. haha and can't run well cause of the stitches. D:

okay nothing much nowadays. CNY is coming to an end. we went to Cheryl's house the other day to bai nian. kinect super fun and entertaining! ^^ went to join them after my tuitions. (: speaking of tuition, I resumed tuition with my second student and sec 3 Chemistry seems rather foreign to me now can! haha.

it's Sunday again. the long weekends has come to an end. SO LAZY TO START ON MY TUTORIALS AHHHHHHH.

anyway I just read someone's blog and I'm surprised she even owns a blog. read certain things which made me feel kinda annoyed. who says your skills better than mine manzzz. that day you played the lousiest and even got the lowest game score, and you actually said you are "definitely better" than me in your blog post? seriously ah. zzz. that's what I don't like about people blogging irresponsibly. they think they can write anything cause they thought the people they mentioned won't read it. oh well enough of you.

went for tuition in the afternoon and got my pay check! (: and tutee's mum gave me a hong bao too. heheee.

oh yessss caught Green Hornet yesterday. the NEX movie theatre is really small!! "best Shaw theatre" huh. okay I admit it's more comfortable and newer compared to the other Shaws. OKAY THE MAIN POINT IS GREEN HORNET IS AWESOMEZZZ. funny too, hahaha! :D Jay Chou's English still has room for improvement but I could see that he already tried his best so ... <3

third day of school today! yeah yeah holidays have ended and it's back to school for semester 2. basically the last week of holidays were spent on outings and shoppings! (: not bad, managed to meet up with almost all my friends during this holidays. like I am going away and need to see everyone for a last time before I go zzz. oh yeah I went to Arnolds Chicken twice during holidays. I think the fried chicken there is really yummy! too bad it's located so far away. ._. and I recommended it to MQ and she said it's nice too! hahaha.

managed to get two electives allocated to me. HE191 Econs and Astronomy. like phew! was surprised to get Astronomy when its highly popular and somemore I put it as second choice. thank godddd. heard of some people getting ZERO electives and I was like "goshhh hope that won't happen to me!" and HOPEFULLY i would be lucky enough every semester to get two electives I want. okay, AT LEAST ONE! don't want to be involved in add/drop cause I think it's really troublesome.

gotta study hard this sem cause everyone is doing better than me. like really everyone. ): my MAS friend who sat beside me for Astro lecture today got GPA 4.37 and I felt so ._. ?! every Tuesday shall be study day in school! Wednesday will be starry day heheee. (;

got back results like two hours ago. yeah, at 12 am! what a weird timing to release results right?!?!
anyway, did fairly okay. all the Bs standard. no A ):
GPA almost same as B1 (which made me lol-ed at first).
he gave me a call when I was still staring at my grades on the computer screen. if he didnt do that I think I would have stared at it for whole 15 minutes hahaha.

next thing is hearing about others' grades. then I realized I am like really average compared to them. zzz.
Jing Huan is right, months ago she told me "ren bi ren qi si ren". haha.

currently feeling unwell with slight flu and sore throat. went to see a doctor yesterday, and after reaching home, the clinic assistant called and said that she forgot to give me the sore throat lozenges. zzz. i decided to forgo it cause i was lazy to go out of the house again and the lozenges are the blackcurrant type which i ate before. oh yeah before going to the doctor, sis and i went to the new Clementi Mall! yesterday was the first day of its opening hahaha. many yummy food there such as Chewy Junior, Shinlin and those fast food outlets. sis was so excited and she said we are gonna get faaaat. haha can't wait for the remaining 5 levels to be completed! :D

okay this morning got woken up by a phone call from a AES staff asking if i could do relief teaching today. unfortunately today we have last floorball match against MAE so yeah i rejected it. =/ we lost to MAE with a score of 2:1. thought we could win, especially when we have 6 players and they only got 4 players. tsk tsk. and my ligament sprain was worsened cause of the running i did today. irritating ligament sprain seriously. ):

after the match, some of us went over to support SPMS netball. i thought they played pretty well but its a pity they lost to NBS. hmmm.

results are coming out in like 4 days' time. friends keep talking about it. lets hope the moderation is as miraculous as i heard!

I am tired of thinking of the same old things everyday. it's like a routine y'know. same old questions and memories running through my mind. EVERYDAY. I wish I can just select certain parts to be deleted away. sucks to have a good memory sometimes.

I think I have inferior complex. or whatever you call it. :'( gotta be more confident of myself. but it's just so hard.

alright since everyone is talking about their New Year resolutions, i guess i shall join in the fun too. ^^

1) mind my language and words when talking to others.
not that i am those sort who will use vulgarities on others, but i think i tend to speak in a harsh or irritated tone without realising. sometimes my elder sister and mother will chide me for that, making me feel guilty.

2) less procastination pleaseeee.
YESSSSS THIS IS SO IMPORTANT. you have no idea how good i am at dragging time. doing tutorials only the day before. and by the time i start on my homework its already like 10 plus or 11 plus?? oh yes this leads to the next resolution.

3) sleep earlier!!!
it has been ages since i went to bed before 12. i must try to sleep early and i shall remind myself constantly that sleep late/little sleep = catalyst to the ageing process!!

4) appreciate everyone around me more.
sounds corny but yeah, i realised how fragile life is after one of my classmate passed away. people reading this right now, i hope you will do so too! as the saying goes "you never know what you have got till its gone". start living your life more meaningfully too! (:

hello, here for an update! okay bit slow but exams are over!! about a week ago. hmmm. really hope I can do okay in all of the modules. and I still have not decided what modules to take next semester. tsk.

post exam celebration had been fun. went to Chevron straight after the last paper to sing K with the "MAS gang" hahaha. it was really fun and we started screaming and got high and laughing hysterically. epic moment haha. I really enjoyed myself. :D I am using my phone to blog now so it's not convenient to post any pictures. pictures are up on Facebook though. (:

met up with Vanessa and Ay Tyng before Vanessa left for Japan. went to NEX to explore then went over to Vanessa's house to catch Hello Stranger!! nice funny story with lame ending! wouldn't be willing to pay and watch in cinema with such ending seriously. haha. anyway movie at her house was fun and I like her wide computer screen! heeee.

next event was Kids World 2010 which ended like two days ago. it was from 28th to 30th December. kids are really cute and innocent. watching them dance and play gives me a funny warm feeling. I miss being a kid laaaa. D: anyway I think the WSC did a pretty good job. Mei Qi and Nicholas were great company during the event! (: oh the theme was Carebears btw. the mass dance song is cute too! first time hearing it cause I am not a fan of Carebears. second day we went to Singapore Discovery Centre and it was fun though kinda tiring! caught Gulliver Travels in 3D there. the movie was alright, not exactly very funny?? hahaha. MQ said we should join again for the next one. I don't mind and I hope to do better in it! hmmm.

yesterday was the last day of 2010. can't help feeling disbelief that 2010 flew past so fast. so many significant things happened. made many many new friends. hope 2011 will be a smooth-sailing year for me and of course for everyone too! hope everyone will be healthy and happy. <3

okay just had my dinner and decided to blog. (:
so today was the day where two horrible tests occur consecutively. zzz. i spent my weekend studying with Calculus and I hope my efforts will pay off man. and because of that i sort of sacrificed my programming! graded lab session after that. horrible horrible horribleeee. (ha ha ha)

ate lunch with bff as usual. i hope i wasnt that gloomy hahaha. i just felt so gloomy and unconfident la. tsk. really worried about my academic grades and all. thanks bff for the concern though. [: ended school rather early then stayed in school for the Kids World briefing which only start at 7 pm. attended the briefing and it was really BRIEF hahahaha. anyway it got me kinda excited though! ^^ hahaha can't wait for final exams to end then it will be holidays already! start of the day wasn't fantastic. I was on my way to school and discovered that my phone battery only left 8% when I was on the train. i was like wth cause I remember charging it before going to bed. met up with Hui Min, Li Ting and Kuan Loong and took bus to Bukit Timah. got to eat my beancurd at the market heheee. KL left after eating cause he got to book in camp before late noon. oh wellll. then the remaining three of us walked over to Ngee Ann Poly. explored NP before Sherman came. NP library is nice and there is a bubble tea shop (Each-A-Cup) hahaha! ^^ played badminton for about one hour then home sweet home. can't wait for next gathering with more people turning up! we were discussing about next gathering and I hope we will have the next one at Sentosa! (: I need a tan badly. like real badly. :O

having tests for 3 consecutive days was really tiring. today is the last paper so yup, no more tests until next Friday! monday's graded lab was horrible ttm. I seriously can't do the questions. boy do I feel like an idiot. i think I can't do programming for nuts. >:( maybe it's because I lack practice. well... guess I should do more hands on huh. anyway I am glad to have good friends who helped me out though i felt even worse and GUILTY after the lab session ended. hmmm, my uni friends will know why. what to do, I was "desperate" and helpless at the point of time.

anyway I just came back from dinner with little sister and mum. the Clementi market is reopening after like 6 months of renovation! ^^ then went to walk around after dinner. bought some snacks and then went home. I was still feeling full from dinner so I did not get my MZJP. hahaha!

okay I really want to go shopping!! i want to buy a new bag and tons of clothes! who want to be my shopping buddy!!! but geez I have no "income" for the next two months so got to watch my expediture. SIGH.

hello everyone!!

omggg it had been 52784281937 years since I have blogged!! okay I mean one year. and I doubt I will gain my loyal readers back again. =O
truth is, I am blogging again cause recently I MISS blogging a lot a lot a lot! maybe it's due to the stress, unhappiness and fatigue bottled up in me and I do need a platform to gather my thoughts.

here is a summary of what had happened for the past 12 months -

chionging for A-levels >> A-levels ended >> got my very first job and worked there for 5 months (never regretted working there as I made awesome friends and gained much experience) >> got back results (thank god I did much better than expected :D) >> chose NTU over NIE and NUS Science (hate major decisions) >> quitted the first job and found a second job at some inaccessible side of Boon Lay and worked there for 3 months as admin shipping assistant >> went for SPMS orientation camp with my colleague who is also in Science faculty >> the longgg holidays ended (tsk) >> ran Safra Half Army Marathon (10 km) >> school started = say bye to carefree days and say hi to studying.
last but not least, I got a new phone about a month ago! <3 my iPhone 4 lotssss and in fact I am using it to blog now hahaha. (:

it has been a month since uni officially started and guess what? I am struggling. yes, I am, though I hate to admit it. so much for looking forward to uni life and people told me "oh XM you can relax after making it to uni, cause you already made it there, you know." WELL FYI THAT'S NOT TRUE AT ALL! I do understand that I should not expect uni to be easy breeze or easier than A-levels cause afterall, it's university education we are talking about. not only the modules is stressing me out, the people there just ... pressurizes me. imagine surrounded by smart AND diligent people there. i feel so demoralized and "stupid" at times. sometimes I don't even feel like I belong there and not qualified enough. yet, I am not prepared to devote my time to mugging. sigh sigh sigh.

okay, I should not complain so much cause I know I should count myself lucky for having a place in local uni and there are many others who are deprived of such privilege. I should stop comparing secondary school and jc standard to uni, see people in a different light (eg stop badmouthing them silently) and it's time to take things seriously, XM.

we had gotten back all of our MYE results.
thankfully i passed all, especially GP which i thought i would fail it. the effort i put in for each subject was somehow inversely proportional to my results which is so ironic. zzz. i am refering to my Chem and Geo. and as usual i made some stupid and careless mistakes which made me feel like kicking myself in the head. oh well. =O

oh yeah yesterday was my elder sister's birthday! happy (belated) birthday sis!! <3

thanks for always treating us and let's go shopping when i am less busy! hahaha.

went for tuition yesterday. while on the way to meet Cheryl after tuition, i passed by this stage with people crowding around it. i went to look and it was actually Jeff Wang (the actor from MediaCorp) promoting his new album. yup and he was busy signing autographs. i didn't know he is into singing now! hur hur.

waited for Cheryl to knock off from work then we went to have dinner! yupppp. had a bad scare on the train. must be the recent Jarkata bombing which caused me to be paranoid! hur hur.

next week = exercising + clearing napfa test + starting of studying sessions + PTM!

was in a good mood cause it was Friday which means a good rest!
we celebrated Reuben's birthday during break and they kept teasing Valerie. hahaha.
stayed back after school to do our Econs project and we did it half-heartedly cause it was so redundant la! tsk tsk.

after that Ay Tyng and i were pretty hungry so we went to have KFC! :D
hurried home to bathe and then went to Jurong Point to watch ...

i just came back after accompanying Ay Tyng to the library. actually i was planning to go home and sleep cause i felt so sleepy and restless. in the end i changed my mind cause i wanted to go and grab a bite hahaha. :p

we lurrrrve reading magazines. hahaha! Ay Tyng "swoons" over her "Ed Chuck" as usual. heeeee. oh yeah i was waiting for bus at the interchange when this lunatic fellow lined up behind me and i was sooo scared after awhile cause he talked to himself and swayed randomly. zzz. i desperately tried to stay as far as i could away from him. zzz stupid. luckily he did not grab me suddenly or i will confirm bash him up la! tsk.

anyway my mother and younger sister are watching Michael Jackson's farewell ceremony on Channel 5 now. my mother said Usher sang until he cried. even me, a non-MJ fan, felt affected watching it. during break VJC and i were discussing about him and then death which left a great impact on me. therefore i had made up my mind to cherish my life more than ever.

i'm finally here for an update! hahaha yesterday was our last paper and then goodbye to MYEs! :D
feels so good to be able to slack again, heheeeee. thanks to exams i was not able to enjoy my holidays and to make things worse during the last week of holidays i had sore throat and flu. it was so serious that one fine morning i was blowing my nose and instead of seeing a white tissue (as usual), i saw a BIG PATCH OF RED BLOOD and the blood in my nose never seemed to go away until 25 minutes later!!!!!! i don't think that is nose-bleeding though. i swear i was so petrified at that time and all wild thoughts were running through my mind at that time. zzz.

then today, met up with girlfriendsxzxz to watch Transformers! Ay Tyng was late, Vanessa was even later. hahaha! but just in time to catch it. (: no comments about that show. i'm not weak hearted okay!!!! just that i am not a fan of adventurous movies hohoho. =p

okay i am waiting for my Absolute Boyfriend drama to start. Nai-te!!!!! :D oh yeah Ay Tyng and i really got different taste hahaha. ^^

Monday
went to Escape with my two sisters! hahaha. it was not quite worth it, cause practically all of them are kiddy rides! no wonder the place was dominated by little kids. however, they seemed to sense our dissatisfaction cause they gave us 4 complimentary tickets to be used within 3 months! hahaha my sister and i were thinking of selling it. hmmm, about 30 plus instead of the usual price of $42+. oh FYI the 4 tickets = 2 adults + 2 children. (:

the most thrilling ride would be the pirate ship, which seemed to be getting scarier each time i go Escape. weeee i gave my younger sister a ride on the Go-Kart!!! hurrrr initially the guy did not believe i am 18 and insisted that my sister and i were friends. zzz. haha my younger sister almost got a heart attack (HAHAHA) and i was enjoying speeding on my last round but this slowpoke parent in front of me slowed me down and caused me to get banged by a car behind like zzz!!!!! =O

after that, went to Tampines Mall for dinner. saw Clara there too! ^^ oh and i finally visited the new mall heheeeeee.

Tuesday
went to school for Econs consultation in the morning. was slightly late cause i only realised that i forgot to bring my wallet when i reached the bus stop. tsk!!! and on the way there was a slight jam too. hahaha we came unprepared, hence we did not have questions to ask. luckily Miss Liew did not scold us, heehee!
went home feeling dead sleepy, so i took a looooong afternoon nap. (:

Wednesday (today)
went to school to study with Denise!!! we agreed to meet in school at 11 am but i only woke up at ... 10.30 am. hahahaaaaaa. okay in the end i still reached school earlier than her, heheeeee.

saw Chang Yi in the canteen so chatted with him for awhile. he went back to study when Denise came. we ate before going in the library. THEN SOMETHING EMBARRASSING HAPPENED LIKE OMGGGGGG. i was "badmouthing" ____ to Denise when we were taking our stuff out to study.

XM: eh you know ____ is really weird!!! when i was walking to school just now, he was behind me. then i was blocking his way cause i was walking slowly in the middle of the narrow lane and he almost fell into the grass when he tried to overtake me like lol?!?!

we had painstakingly planned a surprise birthday event for him, thanks to Alvin's idea. hur, FP claimed that he was really surprised thought he did not show it out. yeah, so our efforts were not wasted hahaha.

carrying the cake around was really a difficult task. thanks Wen Jie for helping me to carry it! i was asking him, "do you feel like a pregnant woman now?!" oh yeahhhh there was this retarded guy who tried to scare Wen Jie when the train door opened. zzz. and i thought that was his friend la. well well well! then we just stared and him and walked off. that fellow is retarded ttmzxzxz!

okaaaaay H1 exams are over.
the thought of the remaining H2s to be conquered dampens my mood. ha ha ha.
the two subject were horror-ble, seriously. geog on the first day was omgzxzxz. usually after a paper, i would feel regretful for sleeping too much and not preparing well but you know what! after geog paper i actually felt regretful for STUDYING TOO MUCH AND NOT SLEEPING WELL. zzz.

then the next day was worse. never felt so lost during a GP paper before, so demoralised after the paper. even Denise agreed! and on the same day there was also Chem SPA which "deep fried" my brain with all that memorising BUT! YAY! NO! MORE! CHEM! SPA! heheheheeee.

can say that it ended off with a good note. and i doubt i will do any more practicals in my life again. weeeee.

went town happily with VJC after Chem Spa. it has been some time since we did that la! then saw someone which really shocked me hahaha oh wellllllll.

yayzxzxz. no lessons tomorrow because of Think Career Day. hope friends and i would not be separated the whole day. :O and i really hope something would inspire me and not waste my time. heheee.

yesterday was our last lesson with Mr Issac Lim. just like last time, we took a "stroll" for the last lesson. the forest is disgusting ttm, no thanks to the rain before that.

got embarrassed during Chem lecture today thanks to Ms VT who hollered in the mic "NG XIN MEI! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!?!" when i stood up hastily to rush back to class after realizing i brought the wrong set of notes. soo ps laaa, tskkk.

geography remedial after school was greaaat and productive. hahaha first time i understood about 70% of the lesson, omgosh ._.

study plans this thursday, Vanessa you better not cancel it!!!!!!!!!!!! hur hur. =p

weeee yesterday i told my mum i feel like drinking this favourite soup of mine and she really cooked it today! :D :D

foul mood of mine finally cleared up. PE cheered me up cause my broad jump improved by 10 cm HAHAHA congratulate me please. (: (: (: finally passed. no more "special training"!!! heheee hopefully can clear by next week. :D

friday
horrible cause i only slept for 3 hours the previous night. OMG THE PREVIOUS NIGHT WAS THE WORST EVER. i woke up in the middle of the night with a very severe case of swollen eye which scared the ____ out of me. ): what an unpleasant time to feel so petrified. TSKKK.

in the end Chem SPA compelled me to go school (sigh) and i went to school with one red eye zzz. stupid red eye lasted the whole day although it did become better. so i told Vanessa i might not go for Yu Heng's birthday celebration when i was in such sleep deprived state.

okay in the end i still went ._.

met Ay Tyng first then headed down to Fish & Co glasshouse. when we reached only Debbie and her bf was there when i thought half of the class would be there already. hahaha. had fish and chips and goshhhh the food was nice but i already felt sick when i had not even finished 3/4 of the fish!!! zzz. k in the end some helpful people helped me finished it (lol). as usual took many pictures. i just viewed them on facebook and took some. hmmm i shall post a few. lazy post all. :O

went for MI carnival because of pressure from Ruk Suek. her "16th May!" still rings in my ear can. hahaha jkjk! weather was crazily hot. the carnival nothing much to eat one! hahaha. walked around. saw Grace. then saw Michelle twice. we stayed there for some time. was about to leave the school then saw Ruk Suek and Li Jun (again) at bus stop. hmmm Sebastian followed them to town. went back to the school to find Norfi who doesn't even know her school building has a house banner in front hahaha. then left for tuition. almost late la! hur hurrrrrr. while rushing there, this big group of men dressed up in pink passed by us and we were like O.O

today then i know that the reason why they were dressed up in pink was because they went down to some event supporting homosexuals. okaaay i personally don't support this but i am not going to give any negative comments. =x

after tuition had dinner with FP and WJ (thanks for waiting heheee) then homeddddd. :D

i am preventing myself from taking an afternoon nap unknowingly so here i am. hahaha. i feel kind of bad and guilty now, for being ____ to _____. tsk tsk tsk. D:

anyone got suggestion for improving standing broad jump? i can't jump for nuts and even the teacher today said that this station is the hardest to improve. he also said sometimes it can't be helped as genes play a part in it. i was like wth laaaa. i just need a few pathetic cm more, pretty pleaseee. ):

"lifted weights" in the gym today. i was quite against lifting weights cause i heard that it would make one shorter. i was telling Jun Hua and Ay Tyng that its true, thats why some guys are short and stout hahaha. :D

the girls were supposed to lift about 2.5 kg weights with each hand but i stupidly took the 4.5 kg (i think) weights and that makes about 9 kg can. zzz.

i was walking home just now and the hot weather made me frown at everything. even though i was frowning or glaring or what, this weird man walked past me and said "xiao mei mei ni chi bao le ma". i was like "ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ crazy man" and pretended he was invisible.

i hope the swine flu will stop worsening cause if schools are closed, we would have a lot of catching up to do. we are already behind time with normal school days. so yeah, in other words, yes i would rather go school even though the thought of not going school is very tempting.
